  2. How do you change the oil? What's the best oil to use?

    1. This generator uses SAE 10W-30 oil for operation in temperatures above 32°F. For temperatures below 32°F, SAE 5W-30 oil is recommended.

      To change the oil, follow these steps:

      1. Drain the oil when the engine is warm to ensure quick and thorough draining.

      2. Unscrew the oil fill port and oil drain bolt to drain the oil. Replace the oil drain bolt and tighten it.

      3. Refill the reservoir with the recommended oil and check the oil level.

      4. Reinstall the oil fill port.

      • One 120-volt, 30-amp locking receptacle (NEMA L5-30R), compatible with an L5-30P plug.
      • One 120/240-volt, 30-amp locking receptacle (NEMA L14-30R), compatible with an L14-30P plug.
      • One 120/240-volt, 50-amp straight-blade receptacle (NEMA 14-50R), compatible with a 14-50P plug.
      • One 120–125-volt, 15-amp flanged power inlet for charging the generator’s onboard battery (NEMA 5-15P inlet, compatible with a 5-15P plug).

  6. Will it run in a 46x46 wooden box that has 4 louvers on the side of the box? The exhaust will be ran out of the box. Door will be open. Does it have a CO sensor ? What generator will run in this box that won't shut off being in this box?

    1. This generator should never be placed inside a box, it requires a minimum clearance of 7 feet. This generator is equipped with a CO sensor. At this time, we do not offer a generator that is recommended to be placed inside a box during operation.
